Why Iran?

Our organization donates books specifically to the youth of Iran due to the current state of the country and its youth education statistics. As of today, 500,000 children in Iran are illiterate due to a lack of monetary aid and resources. Book by book, our organization strives to minimize the number of Iranian children who are unable to read. Furthermore, 20 million people in Iran are between the ages of seven and nineteen. Of those 20 million children, 7.4 million do not attend school. This statistic means that almost half of Iran’s population of children are deprived of access t0 education. For these reasons, among many others, our organization focuses on sending books to the underprivileged Iranian youth.
